My early nomination for the most conspicuously out of place nominations?
"Little Green Fratbawls" and "Andrew Sullivan"
for "Best Liberal Blogger".
Which is only slightly less hilariously than, say, nominating YouPorn as "Best Religion Blog" because many of the on-screen performers shout "Oh, God" very enthusiastically while knobbing dozens of well-endowed strangers.

Methinks the chyron guys from faux news are casting their votes for LGF.
The irony is that these are a bunch of wingers who actually think that Charles Johnson and Andrew Sullivan are liberals.
I think you might be able to imagine their insanity as being something truly great in size.
Because Sullivan favored Obama last year (and still does), and because Johnson doesn't toe-the-line of the theocon Republican base, the kind folks at "The Blogmocracy" (whatever that means) are only a small group of the many who have branded these two bloggers (and others) as traitors to their cause.
Oh, and good luck with your Weblog Award nods driftglass... like last year, you have already garnered my votes!
