You have some outrageously great musical taste, Mr. Glass.
I always loved it when you did the Late Night Music Club at Crooks & Liars because you often managed to surprise even me...which is no mean feat. (Long overdue thanks for introducing me to Back Door Slam; the blues looks to be in good hands. Do you know about Joe Bonamassa..?)
I also happen to share your abiding love for Tom Waits, having seen him perform live multiple times in the Good Old Days.
okay, its me gettin' in touch with my inner Kentuckian, I know, but I saw Outlaws and thought you had you tubed a little "Green Grass and High Tides" for a minnit. Then I saw the video (loonnnng time loading) was only 4:24. ah well, next time, right? Right?
Or at least a little Randy Newman (ANYTHING but "Short people" ( kinda partial to "a few words in defense of our country", yaknow?)

There's a recording of a high school jazz band covering this song on a compilation called "Schoolhouse Funk" that is HIGHLY recommended.
I loves me some Lee Oskar harp!
