Exactly 45 Years Ago Today
lovers of freedom and justice all over the Earth were moved and mesmerized by this historic speech from Martin Luther King, Jr.
Almost exactly four years ago today, at their 2004 National Convention, Republicans went hog wild for this speech
by Dick Cheney.

I always learn something from you -- even though I've shown MLK's speech in my class I didn't make the connection between the more subtle parts of it which Obama used ("Now is the time...") until I watched it here. I knew Obama had to be making more of an allusion to the speech than the brief mention he made at the end. If anyone was going to make it possible for us to pick it up it would be a master of language like you. Thanks
