Sometimes the week gone by just plain sucked.

And the week upcoming holds little promise.

And, in the distance, the one following after doesn't look like the karma train will be offloading any flowers and cakes at your stop.

When that happens, there's really only one thing to do:

Fire this wretched bitch up,

loud and without apology.

And remember that you have endured so much worse :-)

Like Joe Lieberman and Dubya, some things are better left under the rock out from which they are destined to crawl. That video may be one such thing, but there is a certain car-wreck-in-progress fascination, isn't there?

Hope you week gets better, and may this weekend serve as a kick-ass buffer twixt the two!

Please. Without Sweet, American punk rock might never have happened. (Well, it probably would have anyway, but still.)

I'm sorry. I can't type right now. I'm having a flashback to St. John's gymnasium, dancing in a ring of girls because the boys didn't know how to break in and ask any of us. There's sweat and polyester and ... dare I say, rhythm?

And down by the stage, young Prince Driftglass takes notes.

Hang in there. It's summer. What the hell are you doing working so hard?

Sorry to hear your week didn't go as well as it should've.

Hey, this ought to cheer you up. You wanna see a kewl photo montage of George Bush? I was thinking of George C. Scott's speech in the last minute of Patton and realized the comic possibilities. It's right up your alley, DG.
