Sunday Mornin' Coming Down

Unfortunately, not so much "fishing" as work has blobbed in through the floorboards and gobbled up my Sunday morning.

I'm lucky: I have a job (or two, or three) that doesn't involve cleaning public lavatories. So how about we keep a good thought today for the third-shifters. For the harvesters of our food. For those that bring it to our tables. For those in the shadows that clean up our streets, our country and our bodies.

For those in Iraq trying to clean up the biggest mess we've made in a lifetime.

For good teachers, whose job is harder than you can imagine.

For all the tens of millions of sleep-deprived, working-stiff, wage-earners on whom our Republican government wages daily class warfare, and who get up every day and make the world go 'round.

All thoughts are good.....all thoughts are good.....all thoughts are good.....

If we/they vote against our/their own best interests again?

Whose thoughts will be good then?

For those whose hard lives the Republican party exists to make harder.

Gee, Drift, Maybe you should start a religion. So many comments on the Judas bit, and now all the Amens.

No taxes. And with the Republifascist melding of Church and State still as popular as ever, you could be eligible for Faith based government dollars.

Heck, with the right right wing connections, they'll even advertise your biz on government websites for free (ie: Pat Robberson and Katrina).

Just an idea.
