Schrodinger's Heartlanders

So here's a fun test:
Michael Moore: ‘South Carolina Is Not Representative’ of America

The Bernie-supporting filmmaker brushed off Biden’s decisive South Carolina victory, which was largely powered by African American voters.

...
Host Ari Melber, meanwhile, brought up a previous Moore interview from October 2019 in which he claimed Biden was “this year’s Hillary” and wouldn’t be able to excite the Democratic base because “70 percent of the people voting” will be women, people of color, and young people.

“How do you square that with South Carolina?” Melber wondered aloud, referencing Biden’s dominant victory.

“South Carolina is not representative of the United States,” the Fahrenheit 9/11 director said. “That’s just the facts. South Carolina will have absolutely no impact on the Nov. 3 election.”
...
Moore's very clear implication is that if your state didn't vote for Bernie Sanders, you are not representative of America which, in turn, strands those of us in post-Super Tuesday primary states in disturbingly ambiguous latitudes.

For example, we in Illinois now have to wait two whole weeks before we can find out whether or not we pass Moore's "Schrodinger's Heartlanders" test and are thus adjudged to be (or not to be) representative of America.

I'm not sure my delicate tummy can tolerate the uncertainty.

So could someone please answer a question that's been kinda bothering me since I saw MSNBC's breathless coverage of Biden's "surprise comeback win" in South Carolina?
When, exactly, was Biden ever NOT going to win South Carolina?
And who, exactly, ever thought he wouldn't?

"South Carolina will have absolutely no impact on the Nov. 3 election." What about that statement isn't demonstrably true? At least in the context of a presidential election? Trump will win SC. Democratic votes for president are, effectively, worthless there. BTW can we get some form of ranked choice voting now? Please?

Look, Biden had a very real sincere moment over the loss of his son Bo. Bo was his soul.

And Trump is stuck blaming Obama 4 years into his term. Poor Trump and Biden. I don;t ever recall the press shedding verbal tears for us voters? Do you? All those happy voters waiting in line for 6 hours of their lives? We are elated to do that because the pres says so.
But the poor politician . Who lost a loved one or forced to blame Obama are the ones in this election we must make amends to somehow. Not like the rest of us never has hardships.

Where does that leave Hunter? he didn't say. He did mention a reminder to vote him in as senator.
Hey, they are just Gaffes. Biden is known for gaffes. All of the press know it and accept it.
Until they repeat and repeat and point out again and again how Trump makes a big deal of Biden as a mental. Will they take Trump to task of his own MAGA gaffes? They normalized white supremacy with accepting White nationalism as if the later is something nicer, softer with marshmallow skies above it.
Like Trump pointing to hillary dying because she got sick. The press took over and FOX had nothing to do for a month.

It is a fact, no matter who gets the Dem nomination. Trump will be out of reality, republicans in the senate with AG Barr will use government tax dollars to smear campaign.

I remain mystified why anyone would take anything Michael Moore says seriously.

Moore's thought processes skidded through the sharp curve, blasted through the guardrail, and careened off the cliff a long time ago. He's become another case of someone letting success go to their head and believing that their every utterance is relevant and worthwhile. He needs to stick to films and stop speaking like he's the last word on liberal moral authority.

Yeesh, the leftist circular firing squad commences. I support Sanders, not a 'bro' though, and I was definitely felt down on Wednesday. That said I'll vote for whoever is the D's nominee. Michael Moore is a celebrity pundit and he lets his passions dictate his opinions. Not sure why anything he'd say as general political commentary would get to anyone. I think all he's doing is spinning for Bernie.

And just to prove you're right, Wednesday morning Ron Johnson announced that the Repubs on the Senate will be opening an investigation into Hunter Biden. There were some whispers about it after the acquittal, but they fell off after Joe appeared to be failing. I wonder what could have changed in the last few days to make it suddenly important again?
Then again, we don't even have to guess; Johnson says it himself; Joe is the Dem frontrunner, and that means, according to him, it is "imperative" that the "voters" know about Joe's "horrible crimes" before they pick him. And I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you...

The conservative ruling power elite will not allow a liberal to be president or have any real power over the resources or wealth of this nation. TPTB will parade their selection of conservatives before us and whichever achieves office will protect the conservative power structure. If you do not understand this then you do not understand politics in America.

Yes Moore's campaign rhetoric for his candidate to me is not helpful.

But Biden campaign shouting out vote for Joe because he is a real democrat and long time. Fell shot of stealing 2nd base.

It was the Democratic party (joe's long time party) that allowed Sander's to run as a candidate in it. It was Joe's DNC that changed the set rules specifically for a billionaire (bloomberg to enter the race as it was set and in progress.

Tom Steyer anyone? Is Bloomberg or Steyer life long Dem politicians/ Not cool to allow Sanders (anyone) in the DNC primary legitimately and then during the race call to exclude him/her for not being a true democrat worthy of a democratic voters support.

So Moore responded publicly poorly to Biden's poorly publicly placed claim that he and he alone is a democrat and you should only vote for him because of it?

I see this as a wash for Biden and Sanders as poor attempts to make me conder giving my vote to one or the other. By the time I vote, we may be down to the single nominee.
I am more concerned with the general election. " verses Trump.

Justice Ginsberg's health. Down ticket - congressional candidates.

The argument that Biden can promote Dem majority of the senate and hold the house is something I am open to hear exactly how he can do that. And, for that matter open for Bernie to convince me if he has a portent plan for it.

Our general nominee will have something to do with down ticket but not everything.

A Never Trumper will still vote republican down ticket. How do you address that?

Moore should not have gone so far as to minimize S.C. voters as, "Not representative" he did have the point that Dems have never won S.C.. That should fire up Dems in SC to not reelect SEn Graham. Will it?

Moore responded to Biden on stage declaring he (Joe) is the real true democrat and Bernie is not. Therefore do not vote for the guy the DNC legitimately allowed to run in their primary as a Democrat.
That was uncool.

What I tried to assess in this exchange is, their ability to message hard and tough and piercing defectively.
Because whomever the DEm nominee is. Is going to have to have the wits and messaging to break through the corporate medias obsessive free air time for Trump. They (media) continue to normalize President Goldfinger.
