I was hoping the Bernie Steamroller would just keep rolling, but so many people have lost hope in the idea of actual, substantive reform in this country. That's what we've been talking about all through this primary, though we used different, less polite language.
This was an internal disagreement among Democrats on if the system CAN change, and therefore if America is still a democracy, or whether we will no longer even pretend. OK Bloomer was only the most obvious, mask-off example of 'no, there is literally no future', but we seem to have averted the man literally worse than Trump.
Instead, we have the most Democratic Party possibility imaginable; the man who told rich donors “No one's standard of living will change, nothing would fundamentally change,” is pulling ahead, though the lead is still slight. I hope it can be reversed, but I won't deny it's looking bad.
People who have said their only priority is beating Donald Trump are trying to crush the best possible match-up against him, by polls and data, Bernie. In favor of Biden, whose mind wasn't exactly great before it started melting.
This was never just about the White House, and I dare you to try and tell me a Biden victory, if such a thing can even be achieved, will inspire the popular mobilization we'll need to sweep aside Congressional Republicans and restore functional government.
Well damn. I was hoping for a more substantive selection of candidates to vote for here in IL, which would've meant a stronger Warren with a digestible, sound set of policies. So it is Biden vs. Bernie. Establishment vs. the Revolution...
Hopefully Jill will surround herself with plenty of great advisors like Nancy did for Ronnie and thus mask Joe's obvious mental deficiencies as cheeto jesus, his MAGAts and the Bernie Bros all swoop in for the kill.
Warren in a debate, "why run for election only to tell voters what you cannot accomplish".
We cannot over turn Citizens United. If we take over the Senate, we must restore the filibuster to allow GOP to obstruct any of those accomplishments.
I will settle for Biden and too many know this and use it. Example, media coverage hasn;t learned or changed. They continue to normalize MAGA. Continue to tell us what voters are thinking as they select those little people according to their desired produced theme they want to display.
Who they provide free air time. Take Tweety and his sear smack down of Sanders's socialism of health care is just like Hitler sending Jews into the furnaces.

But Biden is a decent man. And Bernie isn't?
Governor Reagan of Calif. ended Calif. free college because he , he disliked the anti war protests for college student over Vietnam. That college system worked well to give had work and opportunity. Now rich folks competing with GPA have to bribe and falsify records to get their kids who have had every advantage from birth in college when they did not work for it and earn it. Give them the piece of degree paper without the knowledge so Trump can appoint them to a lifetime appointment to the SCOTUS.
I will Settle on Biden because he will correct some of it and cease and desist most of the MAGA. move to Fascism that people like Tweety with all his prominence over the years was not able to call out Trump like he did Sanders.
TThere is a similarity of Trump and Bernie.
Both run on very popular vote issues.
The difference is,
Trump lied and will not follow through and has not. Where Bernie is committed to his popular vote issues and will make every effort to follow through.
Odd how all the drop outs came only after Biden victories in all the states democrats have not won in a general election. Biden kills Bernie in S.C. that Trump will beat anyone the Dems put up in that state for the General election. I truly wish I was wrong. All the hype that Biden wiped out Bernie in S.C. .
It is not over yet and the candidates are weed eated down. I can say this, you have NO idea how pleased I am that I do not have a election choice between Tulsi and Trump.
As a Agnostic leaning atheist. I say thank God for this blessing, not to be stuck with that choice.
I do know it is not Kosher the DNC changed rules for Blomberg to get in as he did. To allow Tusli to free ride, and for any Dem Candidate to stand on stage and make the case that Sanders is not a Democrat and therefore do not vote for him. After they allowed him to run in the party, they allow him to caucus with the party.
I just know this.
In the desperate need to take the senate, a presidential candidate should not look to any Senator to be the candidates VP or to select as Adm. Cabinet members in said Adm.
They all took votes away from each other. That is how it works.
Here is the thing, If it is between Bernie and Joe and comes down to a convention intervention. Joe is favored and I understand but not necessarily agree.
For me, I want an aggressive turn it around, call in the pest control to spray for blood sucking white supremacists., take aggressive action to reverse McConnell and every GOP senators abuse of power over Merrick Garland obstruction even if it means adding a 10th Justice. rREviewing the masses of unqualified justices shoved in. Doing as the GOP did and perform congressional reviews of everything as they did to repeal as a partisan with no GOP input. Correcting the corruption and lawlessness unapologetic ally with vigor.
Only then, consider bipartisanship. Biden will play by the old rules that no longer exist. He will face enough obstruction as it is so why give the GOP that power too?
As you can see, there are folks as I that has many issues too, but not limited to these.
