‘This is your fault’: GOP senators clash over shutdown inside private luncheon
Republican senators clashed with one another and confronted Vice President Pence inside a private luncheon on Thursday, as anger hit a boiling point over the longest government shutdown in history.
“This is your fault,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) told Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) at one point, according to two Republicans who attended the lunch and witnessed the exchange.
“Are you suggesting I’m enjoying this?” McConnell snapped back, according to the people who attended the lunch.
Johnson spokesman Ben Voelkel confirmed the confrontation. He said Johnson was expressing frustration with the day’s proceedings — votes on dueling plans to reopen the government, both of which failed to advance...

Ya know, the LameStream almost 100% owned by the 1% argle-bargle that passes for "media" in this country have been at it hammer 'n tongs to blame this whole shitful shutdown solely and only on Democrats. They pretend and act like Nancy Pelosi has been House Speaker all along, and that Chuck Schumer is the Senate Majority Leader. IF ONLY.
Even last night on National Propaganda Radio, as someone was finishing some useless "discussion" about the ShutDown, they ended with a comment to the effect of "Democrats and Republicans have both not been working on this well" or some other such nonsense. Of course, putting Democrats first to make it seem like they're more at fault.
In the meantime, why didn't the stupid Republicans pass the damn bill while they still ruled supreme in both houses until the end of 2018? Why oh why is NO ONE blaming this on bottom dwelling creepy slime bucket Paul Ryan? Why didn't HE bring it to a vote and ship it over to the Senate in time? Why is HE getting a big fat old pass on this?
I have YET to hear or read anyone EVER discuss this salient fact, other than at some lefty blogs.
Meanwhile Pelosi keeps sending bills to the Senate and until recently McConnell REFUSED to put them to a vote. REFUSED. But somehow it's all Chuck Schumer's fault, and after all, Democrats are simply not compromising enough, and it's ONLY $5.7billion, after all, which is CHUMP CHANGE (I've seen endless Trump chumps claiming this), and it's no big deal, and anyway WALL will SAVE US ALL from the perilous hoardes streaming over our borders and raping our wimminz 'n kidz 'n stuff. Plus prayer rugs!!11!! In de desert!!11!!
