Second. Best. Suicide. Note. Ever.

The awful, awful reviews are in.

Not that it's ignoble failure and lobbyist buried gold will matter in the slightest: like any of, say, Dinesh D'souza's literary catastrophes, the purpose of their construction isn't really to be read by actual humans as words-in-a-row-leading-to-some-form-of-meaning, but instead give the "author" a luridly entitled lump of paper to sit on and a few inflammatory quotes to throw around as he makes the rounds of the wingnut welfare talk show wasteland.

The Best Ever, of course, remains the Republican Party's March, 2009 "Road to Recovery":

their long-awaited, much touted Super Ooper Duper Plan to solve everything, which turned out to rank as serious policy lit somewhere between a Chick Tract and the flier that I found shoved under my windshield wiper promising me 1/2 Off Lap Dances at Omar's.

The "Road To Recovery" graphic made me LOL heartily.

You're right: this is soundbite-fodder, not policy ... because the Republicans just don't DO policy any more. Being competent at governance leads to Teh Ghey & pot-smoking, not to mentoin sapping & impurifying of precious bodily fluids & weakening of essence.

If the GOP can't even take the House in November, with such a poor job-market, I think a Night Of The Long Knives is coming - either for the Teabag Nation or for the old-school Goopers. Of all the things to swipe from the Democrats, they had to go with the Circular Firing-Squad.

Another roll riff in the relentless drum solo of crap from the right. If their base is so "energized", why does the constant repetition of double speak even have to happen? The Orc's are assembled in the court yard, they already have their marching orders.

Drain Bamage!

In Opposite World, screams of terror are gales of laughter.

In Opposite World, this recycled turd polishing passes for NEW ideas.

And "we" can't lay off of this stinky cheese. So low-hanging, so packaged.

GOP MREs. Indigestible.

The Corporate entities who control our government don't want to govern, they only want to make more more more money. The repugs are completely owned by them, therefore they have no ideas at all about governing: only saving/making money for their owners. The Dems are 97% owned -it appears Obama is 100% behind the MORE MONEY for business -no to "governing" ideal.

The only acknowledged government duty: "defense" is nothing more than a money-making scheme for the corporations.

If a government program doesn't pour billions into corporate coffers: it MUST GO.

So kiss Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, NASA, and so on good-by
