This is Good

Via Crooks & Liars:

In order to determine whether or not “water boarding” is indeed torture, Vanity Fair’s Christopher Hitchens decided to do the most logical thing: experience it first hand.
"If waterboarding does not constitute torture, then there is no such thing as torture.”

But this would be Better.

C'mon, Mr. President.

Show us Dirty Fucking Hippies that what you do to the people you lock up in your filthy gulags isn't really torture.

Do what presidents are supposed to do.

Lead.

Lead. By. Example.

Off the reservation, I just wanted to thank you for that marvelous "Malagueña at the Crooks & Liars LNMC. José Feliciano is an old, old musical friend of mine and, I'm delighted to see, of yours also. Great taste!

Have I mentioned lately that your photoshopping just knocks me out? You are a gentleman of many talents, Mr. Glass...

Thanks, Angel of Mercy.

US Blues,
Just think we could all enjoy a valuable, "After School Special" moment if the man'd just man-up and show us all what a badass he is.

Brilliant.

If only Bush knew the real meaning of the word "lead."

Maybe pouring water down his gullet will start to sober him up.

His vehement atheism, and this stunt almost balance out his fixed, false belief that Saddam Hussein and AlQeda were in cahoots.

Nah, not really.

Hitchens is still an asswipe, but he went up a couple notches in my book when he did this.

Bush lead by example? Ha. Never happen. Unless you're talking by BAD example. Which there is some value in, but not in a President.
