Lurkers of the World Unite!

You have nothing to lose but your links!

So over on Barsoom, the Clinton Bloggers have gone on strike.

Oh Noes!

Which, since they are only effective when "workers" can withhold some form of economically crucial "labor" long enough to make the "evil corporation" meet their demands leads me to believe that they maybe don't understand the word "strike" very well.

Be that as it may, in response to life under the iron boot heel of Commander Markos, the Clintonistas have come down out of the mountains,

have declared that they ain't gonna

eat there no more

and have started their own blog called Hillary's Voice.

Which, if nothing else, will surely go on to be the name of a terrific miniseries on the Oxygen Network ("Now a proud subsidiary of the NBC behemoth!")

Strike is the wrong word..but hey..in the heat of passion, who thinks clearly? ;p

It still amazes me how the left is all worked up over two candidates that aren't even close to being leftwing.

i like jon swift's take on it...it's more like a slave revolt.

Drifty, yer on it like The Sugar Hill Gang were on Apache.

My take on it all is it's the final dagger in the point of making the point they are no different than the pub's, neocons and 23%er's.

They need to be treated as such, and the DNC needs to ram the blade home into the Clintonista Heart Of The DLC and banish them to the southern 23% forever.

They've earned it. Back into the closet they go.

Gagged and muffled into the silence even the lambs can't hear.

Harumph.

Skippy, Jon Swift is shillin for Shilary. And you know it, doncha . . *G*

Shil is the one with one of the highest over all negatives in candidate history. The Pub's want her so bad, they'll cheer her on all the way to the jaws of our failure to see the teeth in the 'gator till it's too late.

Giving voice to any of them, pub or dem, is self defeating.

Less we can beat them with it like the ugly stick that was used on yer generic 'yo mama so ugly'.

Then, I say, thump 'em up the side of the head!!! *G*

Ya know, GI Johnny Mac today provided a SWELL opportunity to thump him with an ugly stick, long as I'm stuck on ugly sticks.

N Damn them Wild Eyed Iranian Mullahs for sending all them Shia's into Iraq to fight with the Sunni Al Queda.

*G*

*WHACK* *THUMP*

Danged edit button don't work:

". . . cheer her on all the way into the jaws of our failure before we see the teeth in the 'gator, when it's too late."

My bad. Even THIS Larue couldn't translate what I HAD laid down . . . geez.

The American Federation of Concerned Bloggers (AFCB).

'Scusi???

I've seen the "C" word -- concerned -- used for advocacy groups that tell you right up front IN YER FACE what they are concerned about.

Union of Concerned Scientists (usually cited in the context of science gone deadly or amok);

Concerned Parents Opposed to Music Lyric Indecency (self-explanatory).

So what are those bloggers concerned about? Why won't they tell the world the general category of blogness that has them steamed?

Now I did find references all over the blogosphere about "...how incivil the air is at DKos ..." but I never witnessed it, even in DKos linked articles. However, after wading thru the long defensive diatribe this "strike" organizer wrote at DKos (linked from HuffPo), I am now convinced that the American Federation of Concerned Bloggers springs from the same cryptic place that spawns fake consumer/grassroots groups (called AstroTurf groups) in high-priced, industry Flack/PR Firms.

Read the strike organizer's letter, manifesto, rant, whatever it is. And tell me if you don't feel the breakaway group should be a little more transparent in its self-branding. Like Bloggers for Hillary Clinton or Clinton Corner: A Safe Place for Partisans.

Everybody's concerned about something. Fess up, strikers.

To sum up Markos semi-rebuttal, he set his site up to crash the gate, not man it. A 50 state strategy, not a 51% strategy. When someone's candidate starts acting like a GOPer and then they catch shit on it from real kossacks they might as well whine somewhere else.

"Hillary's Voice"? That's the name? Seriously?

Well, I suppose "The Mouth Of Sauron" was already taken by the GOP.

There is also

hillaryyouth.blogspot.com

No. Not making that up. They like her. It's not a hate site.

I shake my head.

HillaryYouth.com is the totally sweetest site out there besides this one. It's where I get all my semi-up to date news about America's Senator. Oh, who am I kidding. I'm one of the fellas who writes the thing. I can't lie to you. But it's fun to write, mostly because Barry makes it so easy to make him out to be a moron. So keep reading if you will. Bye bye, and buy bonds!
