Would you post a link for the TikTok post by the young woman who was a "Bernie-or-bust" person that you played on the podcast? Thanks.

Dropped off my ballot to the ballot box.
But I am still undecided.
If I had to vote the multi choice as in some states. The choice after Harris/ Walz who would I want to be my 2nd choice if she lost?
Would it be Trump? Kennedy, The Trump paid black guy who got on a few ballots or the completely unknown Libertarian who is only on the ballot for president in my state?
I just can't decide. Please, don't make me. I might choose to move to Somalia where a man can live out his childhood dreams of being a pirate. Thing is, in todays world, finding a secret place to bury my treasure. Then there is the problem of using and "X" to mark the spot because Elmo may sue me for infringement.

Got my email from the state SOS saying that my ballots have been received and counted. Feeling lucky to be typing this as PG&E sent out notices saying that our power would be turned off this weekend because the wind might blow. It didn't blow and the power is still on. The last time they did that, the "Mono Wind Event", the power was off for six days, and the wind did blow. The whole wind from the East blowing hot and dry in October is kind of a thing here in California. In fact, there's a fire in the East Bay hills right now that they are furiously attacking with everything they have, because...
33 years ago today I woke up to a weird orange cloud in the middle of a clear blue sky. I walked up the street to see what it was about and saw flames coming from the trees on the East Bay hills. Having fought some forest fires when I was younger, I started marching up Ashby Ave. to see if I could be of some use to someone. As it turned out, I could: a man was on his roof on Claremont Ave. with a garden hose wetting down the roof and he asked me if I might help him by putting the end of said hose back into the creek (by then there was no electricity or water; he had a pump and a generator and a long hose) so I made a pile of rocks in the creek and stuck the hose in the middle of it.
His house was still standing when I went past it a few years later. Then I watched a pickup truck burn rubber around the corner of Alvarado and head up into the hills, and out of the back of the truck came a big metal ring with hose couplers on it.
I picked it up and started up Alvarado on foot. After a while, the truck came back down the hill and I tossed the ring into the open window as it passed. It burned rubber in a u-ey and went back up Alvarado. Now, with no water pressure, those couplers probably didn't help much, but you just do what you can and try to stay out of the way, you know?
As it turned out, that awful fire would have another impact on my life: two years later, still unemployed and just this side of homeless, I got a job delivering appliances and furniture for a local department store, mostly because all of those new houses were buying a shitload of furniture and appliances, requiring some new hires in the delivery service. For months we sent two or three 20 foot trucks full of stuff up into those hills six days a week. And we were only one department store, and a local one at that.
Thank you again for the podcast. Dealing with crazy bastards has been a major theme in my travels through this world, and knowing the hazy nature of the boundary between them and the supposed sane people, there is a special place in my heart for the goddamn propagandists pushing people in their thousands through that goddamn boundary many never to see this side of it again.
I'm glad you found your cat. Our cat just pulled the door open and let himself out, as he often does.

the same programmed mush minds that were devoted to Nixon, Goldwater, Reagan, GW Bush and ow Trump will need reprogramming if Trump loses this election.
The next coming of a charismatic Cult leader as Trump will not be Bobert, Three Toes Greene, JD, Serpent handling Mike Johnson. It won't be any deviate lunatics out of the GOP tree house of the senate or House.
Won't be the former FOX heir of the Swanson TV dinner wealth and fame.
Look to Emo, Teal, and other Billionaires of the superior race base on wealth.
This is where it will come from next in my opinion because evil never seems to die.
There are saving ways for Rust and Cancer as long as it hasn't ate to the head bone beyond what treatment can do.
