Back in the our era, these were considered Very Serious People. They were paid lots of money for their savvy political insights, and given enormous platforms by respected media institutions from which to spread those opinions.
Which goes a long way toward explaining why our era was so deeply fucked up.

I live in NYC, did my research, and told friends not to vote for Adams because he was corrupt. It wasn't hard. Where was the media?
