Following on this, you need to do some commentary on Ross Douthat's completely bonkers OpEd today that the Jan 6 insurrection wasn't actually an insurrection. Completely deranged.

For those who might want to tell people that J6 was not an insurrection. Are going to have a rough time convincing of earth based reality otherwise. They know it is a lie and they enjoy lying to Dems, Libs, Godless *their god). They really like the posit in because as long as they embrace the lie they can get attention from folks attempting to cause them to reconsider. Again, they know it was not a Tourist day.
They see the security video. We all noticed the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers were tried and convicted by a jury of their peers for sedition and are now serving long seditious prison terms.
As long as they lie. They can counter with a lie. They can cover up the previous lie with a new fresh lie. None of the lies for them require making any sense.
In this, they feel they can always win any argument. Like their cult leader. So now they are great debaters and very smart lie Lying Ted.
I am sure there are many psychologists and Psychiatrists that can explain it better than I and more than likely have a clinical name for it.
It is just like Trump appealing to the courts that as he was president he is immune to any prosecution the rest of his like. Yeah, he can order Moose and Squirrel to assassinate Boris and Natashia if they challenge him in an election. For the security of the country. You post something that sticks in his craw on his social media that hurt his feelings, he can have you taken out by his coffee boy. If he wants to rile up his Pro-life base to vote for him, he can rape and shoot a 7 year old girl on 5th avenue and remain the chosen one.
I know this, any there is no reporter or person of news I would ever trust or rely on that would lie about what my eyes watched, and the avalanche of proof and evidence that tumbled down on us Americans in the aftermath.
I mean, Josh Hawley who was akin to the insurrectionists and violent mob enough to raise his fist in alliance with those "tourists" later that day was filmed on security camera running from them for safety. People as Josh do not run away like that from peaceful republican tourists.
