Good evening, Mr. Glass.

1984, my dude. Unless, in an AMAZING coincidence, there was an 1894 book called, "Neuromancer."

Best to you and your loved ones.

Neuromancer was a favorite. I haven't re-read it in decades, must now do so again.

If you haven't please check out Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. Sort of similar, only far more grungy and rather fun (as I remember it).

Thanks for the cast. Makes me want to watch MIDRPO (many laugh emojis for this). I think the last one I saw was Ghost Protocol, which had some Torchwood overtones IIRC.

Have a pleasant Wednesday. :-)

There is an AI twist in the movie Saturn 5.

Where a robot has a actual Brian that is black and must connect with a human brain to program thoughts. for it to act on its own.
In this case, a criminal finds himself programming this empty brain tissue with his own criminal thoughts.

What could go wrong? Does go wrong in space.

Because even in space and in the future, what can go wrong will go wrong.

And that is an element of sci Fy that lasts and we see over and over.

From the first thriller where someone must getaway from what ever is afar them. They get to the car. And always fumble with their keys to open the door or start the vehicle to escape as the "bad thing" approaches.

The panic fumble moment to lengthen the tense moment where you add the eeriest sound effects to intensify

The thing about sound effects is, you cannot put sound effects in written form.

Marc Tessier-Lavigne just resigned as the president of Stanford. None of the press announcements said anything about 3 Jane or their familial relationship...
