I'm getting quite weary of reading about "We dare not put TFG on trial or send him to prison because his minions would do violence". Maybe. They don't tend to be particularly smart or brave. And we could take precautions. I had to grind my teeth every time Obama and Holder intoned "We don't want another Waco" during the Bundy bullshit. Nobody wants another Waco. But if it takes another Waco, or ten, or a thousand, to teach the lesson then that's what we do. Appeasement only makes it worse.

Sometimes Charlie Sykes feels the need to put on a false face and fight for his nonexistent virtue in my comment section under the nom de guerre of "Unknown". Forgive him for this: after nearly 30 years as the combative "Rush Limbaugh of Wisconsin" Mr. Sykes is now far too fragile to face any of his critics directly, even when that critic is nobody blogger from the middle of Middle America.
