(Odd, because, if it weren't for executives seeking to spike ratings, Donald Trump would be back haunting dressing rooms at the Miss Universe pageant and Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be on the 700 Club, hawking Jesus by the pound.) Moreover, it did so by having the White House officially endorse James O'Keefe's latest preposterous ratfcking project. What's next? Sarah Huckabee Sanders beginning the next briefing with, "But first, a word about Alex Jones and his magical brain pills"?It's CNN's obligation to fight back on this, hard. Time to cut loose Jeffrey Lord. Time for Jeff Zucker to stop worrying about what the president* and the White House think of him. Zucker is so cynical I think a CNN Board of Directors intervention is warranted. He is totally clueless and clearly willing to drive CNN into a ditch.

here is 2 cents for CNN.
Do your journalistic homework on the accuracies, reported mistakes, and the corrections made when it happens.
Do it over a long period of time.
Then do the same thing on Trump.
Do a lot of public on air comparisons of these and run it for a long time.
CNN can even keep a score card of team Trump and Team CNN.
CNN could do what the FOX does, Not provide actual live coverage of Trump but cover the issues at hand . Unlike the FOX, lies are not needed of Trump.
They do not have to show him, provide Trump with mic and Camera.
Juat have reporters filtering what was said and elaborating on what was said. No pictures of Donny and no voice.
Actually I might even watch that.
