You know that moment in "Total Recall" (the sub-par 1990 film very, very loosely based on Philip K. Dick's excellent short story, "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale") when the audience finds out that Quaid isn't Quaid?
That Quaid is actually Hauser and Hauser is pallsy-wallsy with the Bad Guys?
After watching this clip of Michael Moore laughing it up with Megyn Kelly over what an asshole Donald Trump is (h/t alert reader "Richard") I am reminded yet again that not only are we living in a science fiction universe, but in a science fiction universe where plot and character development have been jobbed out to Phillip K. Dick and Kurt Vonnegut (h/t Crooks & Liars

Morning the 2nd or 3rd, Mr. Glass.
Well, you're the guy who likes Game of Thrones because of the idea of the squabbling sides needing to realize that there's a bigger enemy to unite against.
Maybe Mr. Trump's the bigger enemy?
(And for any future commenters out there, I know f*ck all about GoT. So if I got my facts wrong, correcting me won't accomplish anything.)
Be seeing you, again.
Hmm... Blue sky on Mars. That's new.
I happened to surf past that Kelly/Moore interview last night, and had a WTF! moment, too.
When the establishment is not well regarded.
FOX too, is the establishment.
Yet a crinkling feeling in the lower cerebellum poses suspicion that the FOX circus ringmaster points us to the elephant show in the ring at the right of the tent.
