The Supreme Court, LLC to Women:

Go Back To Whore Town Ya Whory Whores!

From karoli at Crooks and Liars:
In another 5-4 decision, the court ruled that Hobby Lobby does not have to provide contraception to its employees.
Another 5-4 decision.

You know...it's almost like it matters who sits on the Supreme Court.
Which would seem to indicate that it matters who appoints Supreme Court justices.
Which would, in turn, appear to imply that elections have actual consequences for real people.

But of course that is unpossible.

BIG SURPRISE: in addition to tongue-bathing Hobby Lobby, the Fascist Five fucked over the unions yet-again, in a case that the Mainstream Media has studiously and strenuously ignored the very existence of...

Basterds.

There ya go, drifty. Democrats are equally to blame.

You can not vote for DINO but imagine a solid Scalia like majority of 7-2. That would quite likely have happened.
The that has been going in the wing nut direction for 30 years won't stop itself.
The only achievement not voting will get you is " the worse the better" but if Marx makes you feel better so be it.
Just remember that whole ends justifying the means thing has a bad habit of not turning out well

History shows that whenever (as is the case today) the ruling class has no fear of the working class, its institutions need not factor the risk of revolution into their calculations.

When the rulers do have such fear, even their most conservative representatives will concede ground out of a rational desire to preserve the current system.

To obscure this basic truth is what drives the Droneglass Democrats to work so tirelessly at spreading their electoral cretinism among working people... even when not actually getting paid to do so!

Remember, folks:

Don't vote for the Democrat™ party.

If we just stop voting for them, then something something mass social uprising, and then, something something utopian social democracy!

We're right on the cusp of victory, and all we have to do is let the Republican party control the House, Senate, White House and Supreme Court!

Even as we speak, kossack "Boise Blue" is threatening to sit out the election because nobody ever gives her the pony she deserves.

And if you point out that this increases the likelihood of the Republicans taking over Senate and causing *real* problems, the flying monkey purity army descends to scream that you are just trying to scare them with stories about the mean old Republicans (who are only a dime's worth more bad than the mean old Democrats) and demand that you immediately offer up candidates who will promise them ponies.

I am at the point of hoping that they will all pack their bags and leave, so we can count nose among the reliable and plan accordingly.

I've been meaning to get around to reading The Handmaid's Tale just to see what happens next in this story. I hope the Supreme Court doesn't spoil the rest for me...

When Jill Stein is in the White House, THEN you're going to see some good ass-kickin' presidenting.

Many of the "Fascist Five" would not have been appointed if the Dinocrats had not meekly allowed the Reptilians to steal the 2000 Presidential election.

Why should we DFHs go to the mat for a "Democratic" Party which will never go to the mat for us?

One thing that struck me about the Supreme Court's decision, and the idea that "this only applies to contraception, and not transfusions or mental health".

The birth control issue is what is close to the Evangelical Christian beliefs that these Judges are likely to hold.

The transfusion issue is for the Jehovah's Witnesses, which Evangelicals see as a cult. The mental health issue is for the Scientologists, which most consider a cult.

The ruling says this doesn't apply to the religions that are considered safe to attack.

Not sure if I understand how the Dems are to blame for Hobby Lobby decision. Understand the anger and aggravating emotion attached.
As for the dems are responsible for the SCOTUS decision of Bush V Gore is reaching for Uranus from the Earth.
Try not going out and voting in the Mid terms and letting the GOP win after a Census year that allows for redistricting.. And they saud thanks we will redistrict you out of your vote.
So they did. and some of you point to the Dems and blame?

We all knew deep in our hearts that the conservative five would vote on these according to their ideology and not the law or common law or Constitutional law.
As Alito's vote on the recess appointments (of a Democratic President) appoints to the NLRB. Knowing his entire history of labor ruling in his past.

They are in America's face.

Displayed as,
* A 2 hundred foot buffer zone for the SCOTUS and zero for a woman who is making a very tough choice and doesn't need her freedom counciled by strangers on the sidewalk. That she does not solicit. Disregarding the rights to safety of that woman from well known extremists.

* Picking and choosing which religious people/ corporations may have religious privileges of Government exemptions.

* Corporations religious views trump actual real living people.

* Not only are corporations People, but they have religion that they can impose on their employees. You know, because the company owns them.

* How does the court disregard Hobby Lobby's owners doing business with Chinese (who force Government Abortions. And other anti religious market traders around the world for their trinkets to sell here?

* But the SCOTUS picking and choosing who is a religion worthy in their eyes is astonishing.!

So are the Repubs right about Obama being at war with religion?

Good morning, Mr. Glass.

This sounds like a science fiction debate.

"Are corporations people?"

"Do corporations have religious beliefs?"

All you need is a Photoshop and a snappy title from some sci-fi story:

"I, Hobby Lobby"

"Bicentennial Business"

I have faith in you. You can do this.

Enjoy your day.

Typically, corralling a woman's right to control her body, the ruling did nothing to payment for Viagra or vasectomies. Men, it seems to the SCOTUS. have a basic right not covered in the law.

I see I'm not the only one who was reminded of "The Handmaid's Tale". Little did the college-age Sinner know that that book was non-fiction in spe.

But we should all get a good laugh when the day comes when Roberts & Co must explain that the religious beliefs of Muslim employers don't merit the same protection.

We may laugh but they don't care. Their explanations don't need to make sense. They have the power. Time is on their side. And "Fuck you very much." Fat Tony sneers and flicks his chin.

The usual suspects come to chuck cinderblocks into traffic and gloat over their victory over us Damn Fake-Liberals, reminding us that if we just don't vote again this time, everything will suddenly change just like they did in 2010.

But remember, they're not rightwingers at all. Sure, one an outright racist, and the other's a Treasonfederate Revanchist whose ancestors would have died in Sherman's great conflagration if the man had been as thorough as he should have been...

But they're not righties, no sir.

The homeopathically-diluted pwogwessives of the "Liberal" Establishment lost elections in 2010?

How could that happen? I thought those horrid old inbred raaayycist!(tm) cousin molesters and Sino-Peruvian lesbo harridans weren't needed any longer?

Wasn't the New Improved Dinocratic Party ("It's Corporate-Friendly, It's Politically Correct, It's A Floor Wax, It's A Dessert Topping!"), with its New and Improved Coalition of Teh Kewl Kidz supposed to go from strength to strength, now and forever, world without end, Amen, Amen?

Now you want to berate us poor unfashionable relics of the Old Dinocratic Coalition for taking you at your word about our not being necessary, and voting, or refraining from voting, as we pleased, under the assumption that it did not matter, since you could win without us?

Now you denounce us for not meekly accepting your sneers and verbal abuse, and robo-voting for Dinocrats like good battered spouses?

Now you try to "persuade" us with further sneers and verbal abuse, because that is all you pathetic lot of perpetual adolescents know how to do?

Too late.

I invite you lot to gaze upon the field in which I raise my damns to give, and note how the weeds have choked it.

It costs nothing to be gracious in victory, and may cost you a great deal, down the road, not to be.

Too bad you lot had to learn that the hard way.

Selah.

It's one thing to be ideologically blindered to the point of political incoherence. It's another thing to be just butt-ignorant even if you gotta give the Brass Balls award to someone who would bring up the Florida tally while arguing for purity. Gore never had a chance against the lawsuit filed by Bush to stop the fucking recount -- a recount that would never have been necessary were it not for a bunch of dumbshit purists voting for Saint Ralph. And why is it that Gore had no chance, even though they proved their case up, down and sideways? Because the Supreme Court majority of the year of our Lord 2000 was a majority of CONSERVATIVES APPOINTED BY REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTS.
Rehnquist -- Nixon
O'Connor -- Reagan
Kennedy -- Reagan
Scalia -- Reagan (he's the shithead we got instead of Bork and just as a reminder it was the liberal purists who helped Ronnie get into office by having Teddy primary Carter from the left)
Thomas -- Bush I

That chicken you keep fucking is looking a little worse for the wear.
