Our Lady of the Immaculate Mojito Blacks Out

Wakes up.

Thinks it's still April Fools Day.

Dashes off the following:
People sometimes ask “What would Reagan think?” and “What would Reagan do?” I don’t understand this and tend not to play. How would I know, how would you? He was a man of his time and place who responded to the great questions of his day. He could be surprising—actually he was both constant and surprising. The famous cold warrior who spiked defense spending worried fairly constantly about nuclear weapons and was willing to gamble all to get rid of them at Reykjavik.
...
For those of you unfamiliar with her oeuvre, Ms. Noonan "tends not to play" the “What would Reagan do?” game to make a living in exactly the same way that porn superstar Ron Jeremy tended not to use his penis to make a living.

Oh....the Wheels on the Souse go
Round and round,
Round and round,
Round and round...

Kudos for the Ron Jeremy nod. Mr. Jeremy is not given nearly enough credit for his influence on 70s-80s landscape. Well played, good sir!

I think the black outs are starting to have a deleterious effect on our beloved Nooners.I think an intervention may be in order.

I'll bring the little umbrellas.

The Blackouts was the name of Frank Zappa's first band, apropos of nuttin'...

Of all the truly GREAT photoshops Driftglass has fashioned, this is one of my favorites. I will heretofore refer to her by the full title Our Lady of the Immaculate Mojito Black Out.

The difference is Noonan's not playing. She's possessed.

He walks with me
And he talks with me
And he tells me I am his own
And the joy we share
As we tarry there
None other has ever known...

Yeah, I've heard this speech before:

"Hey, man, you don't talk to the Colonel. You listen to him. The man's enlarged my mind. He's a poet warrior in the classic sense. ... I should have been a pair of ragged claws scuttling across floors of silent seas.
