Again the old canard that we oppose Obama because he's imperfect. No, we oppose him because he sucks. You aren't allowed to sleep through the 90s and be a politician.
So whether it's 2012 or 2016, it shouldn't be too much to ask that we pick a real live electable democrat who isn't completely terrible. That real live democrat will be disappointing and imperfect, but it's not too much to ask that (s)he have a functioning brain that can take in knowledge.
The 2008 primary was a colossal embarrassment, and the 2016 one doesn't have to be. And I will bitch incessantly, from a position of real-world workable solutions, if it is.
