Since there is no way for justice to "win" in McConnell's kangaroo court, Democrats's energies would best spent using their time to put the Republican Party's deep loathing for the constitution and the rule of law on trial.

Democrats should use the hearings to take the Republicans on directly. Newt Gingrich mainstreamed the practice of calling your political enemies un-American traitors at every turn, even in the halls of Congress, and since that time the GOP has only become more powerful. What exactly do the Dems have to lose adopting the same kind of strategy? The entire mainstream media lumps the Dems in with the GOP anyway as they tsk-tsk-tsk both sides anyway. And as an added bonus, when our side calls their political enemies un-American traitors, its actually true.
You know I've never seen this film but I'm struck two ways about that clip. Damn, Spencer Tracey had the goods and, they used to write screenplays about real gritty issues? That's the era when calling Hollywood a bunch of commie liberal elites meant something.
