Why Journalism Is Dying

Because it is a profession which is theoretically dedicated to holding power accountable, but which absolutely refuses to police its grotesque excesses and hold its own wormy con men accountable.

Behold, a Tip Jar!

If there had been no email story, the R's would of just doubled down on Benghazi, Vince Foster, Whitewater, etal. That's what motherfuckers do.

Her biggest mistake was not having driftglass write a few speeches for her.

Toilet paper at least serves a useful purpose (useful in and of itself, that is, not useful in the sense of "it could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others").

If there were any journalists left in this country, one could have asked an expert, or one with similar experience, as to how Clinton handled her emails. An expert, or one with similar experience, like say Condileeza Rice or Colin Powell, former secretaries of state who used private email servers for conducting government communication. But nah, that never happened and instead Cilizza's like 'it's not that she did anything wrong, it's how she acted when we accused her of wrongdoing' a year after the election and how many? 500 months into the Trump disaster (which is also using private servers for government emails but hocus pocus nobody cares anymore about email servers) where every single week is worse than the last. Nice job if you can get it, and are willing to sell your soul.

"It wasn't the email story. It was how she handled the email story." ...that gave us Pruitt, Sessions, Price, Carson, DeVos, Perry, Mnuchin, Tillerson, Bannon, Miller and the rest of the wrecking crew currently buggering the government on our dime.

There, Chris, I fixed it for you.

It's not the story of how the media totally mishandled the email issue, but how they handle the revelations of their gross incompetence and treason.

See how that works, Chris? It's not that you guys are scum and willing to say anything for ratings or circulation bumps, it's HOW YOU REACT when everyone FINDS OUT that you have no credibility or moral authority.

Your weasel words and distractions and subject changes aren't really helping you with public opinion, but I guess as long as the checks clear it really doesn't matter to you, does it? And one excuse is as good as another as long as the Boss agrees.

So he's right - it's not the facts, it the way people REACT to the facts that matters. If she had just raised her metaphorical middle finger, like Chris is doing, she would have been fine, like Chris is.

God I hate Chris Cillizza. I'm not exactly sure why he gets under my skin more than the other both siderist/right leaning, purposeless, overly employed hacksman. He's what DB is to DG for me. Cillizza is everthing that's wrong with the media. Truly a righteous fuck stick.
