Former Republican Campaign Strategist Can't Bring Himself To Say "Republican"

American political journalism has become this perverse, extended exercise in never, ever calling anything by it's simple and obvious name.

How long before Dowd and Fournier and Brooks start with the "hot takes" saying "Actually, President Putin doesn't sound like a bad idea."

2 issues.

First,
republicans looking into a mirror metaphor needs further expansion because we all know a blood sucking vampire bat has not the soul to see it's reflection to be ale to "soul search".
2nd,
"does power, privilege & party matter more than principle".

The GOP are far beyond party loyalty, privilege and power. As in the movie "blade" They are "Familiars".
They live, exist for those that own them. Yes, they would sacrifice their own child for their owners.

"Folks in the WH & Congress are going to have to look in the mirror & ask themselves does power, privilege & party matter more than principle"

If one has the insight to ask such a question, he is not a Republican.

"republicans looking into the mirror" is a metaphor.

Actually a code metaphor translating as,

I looked deep into Putin's eyes and saw "his" soul.

Sound familiar?

Because Republicans are the "familiars" in the movie Blade.

A good start would be for "independent" political hacks like Mr. Dowd to do so. However, vampires aren't known to have reflections.

By RW standards Mustn't we conclude that The "Greatest Generation" and the Third Reich were equally bad? What's that? They were wrong and we were right? Exactly!
