The Both Sides Duet

Just in case you think I perhaps sometimes exaggerate-for-dramatic-effect the degree to which the Beltway compulsively works their "Both Sides" claptrap like a rosary made of solid bullshit, here is a clip plucked from the genuinely unwatchable Centrist midden pile known as "Morning Joe" during which the reverential citations of David Brooks (sorry) and Tom Friedman and David Gregory (oh my!) were exceeded only slightly by Scarborough panel from the Isle of Misfit Pundits interrupting their host's lying rantlettes about Obama's "failure to lead" and how "Obama has no plan except taxing the rich!" in a contest to see who could agree with him in the most obsequious way possible.

This is useless sack of skin Mike Barnacle literally repeating the Magyk Conjure Words "Both Sides" mantra-style (may be preceded by an ad):

And in case three straight hours of this from the Soviet Union's "General Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets in the Press"  your Liberal MSNBC is not enough to jackhammer the point home home, you can always flip over to the Tiger Beat on the Potomac (h/t Charles P. Pierce) to hear a verbatim recitation of exactly the same Beltway talking points using exactly the same words:
Sequestration: Excuses, excuses, excuses
...
1. House GOP: Hey, we did our job. What’s Obama waiting for?
...
2. Obama and the Democrats: Yup, Republicans are STILL protecting the rich.
...
3. Both sides: Don’t look at me. I didn't vote for it in the first place.
...
4. House GOP: The whole thing was Obama’s idea.
...
5. Democrats and Republicans: We might be lawmakers, but we're not leaders.
...
6. House GOP: Obama doesn’t really want to stop it.
...
7. House and Senate Republicans: There, there, it won’t be that bad.
...
8. Both sides: Gee, we didn't think it'd come to this.
...
9. Both sides: Not our job to wear the green eyeshades.
...
10. Both sides: Too late to stop it so we’ll clean it up later.
...

Those aren't misfit pundits. Misfit pundits are the few who don't suck abominably at their jobs.
