Neil Armstrong: Space Moocher

Just a quick reminder (especially to those tens of thousands of aerospace workers in the great state of Florida) that, according to official Republican Party doctrine, being the first human to set foot on the moon was not a real job.

But going on teevee and spewing GOP talking points

is a real job.

And a very good job at that.

Because...Freedom!

That now amounts to tens of thousands of EX NASA employees. Raised on the Space Coast during the times of Apollo launches, Obama screwed the pooch by cutting shuttle without program to employ all those voters their who ;ost their jobs. Sure, O'ness made a good decision technically but not politically. God bless engineers: http://empireofdirt77.blogspot.com/2012/08/god-bless-engineers.html

God it is painful to listen to that Muppet.
Government jobs aren't jobs because they aren't of infinite duration? Are the guys fixing the crumbling highway system paid in monopoly money made of sugar candy? When they take their paychecks to buy groceries does it dissolve before it gets included in the sales tax rolls?
When Shrub cuts a $250 vote buy check for every taxpayer, that stimulates the economy, but when Obama gives people a payroll tax cut, or give states money to pay teachers and policemen that is a different currency that has no economic impact at all? Where did these people learn economics, the corner of a fucking playground?!!

Economics has nothing to do with movement conservatism. It is all about The Narrative, and preserving The Narrative. Any closed loop of "facts" is truth, though the truth can change and skip loops as long as the twirling circle of bullshittery is unbroken. This is how Becks' shows were based, and why it was so important for his rambling horse crap to regularly and magically arrive back at the starting point. That made it a closed loop, and therefore true.

One of the most valued unwritten rights that is not in the Constitution is the absolute right to mislead, deceive and manipulate each other within the limits of the law. Nations have gone to war for less.

Steele always has the nice suit. He must spend more on suits than the average working class republican makes in a year.

Armstrong was a looter as well as a moocher. Those moon rocks are worth a lot of money and just took them and trashed the Sea of Tranquility. What. An. Asshole.
