I've got this small tingling sensation, which means I suspect something. In this case, I wonder if Brooks, instead of cynically village-writing for the money, might actually believe this stuff?

brooks believes not one single word he has ever written. oh, he's stupid, too, but he's no true believer.
i've seen this picture many times, but never at this magnification. just so chock full of goodness! what does the boy in glasses see to the right and behind the photographer? the horror! the older girl clearly realizes that yes, her life will be this terrible forever, at least until she runs away from home. the wife can only manage a pained grimace, as frothy drips on.
this guy is a wet dream. enjoy it while it lasts, people.
