A year ago, I suffered through the worst-planned inauguration I've ever been to - and I've been to every one for about 30 years - and the incompetence since then has been consistent. My only hope is that, like Clinton, Obama's having a bad first year and will clean house to get things back on track. I'm not holding my breath, however. - mac

On the bright side.... there is NO longer need to keep Lieberman in the caucus. He doesn't make 60 and therefore useless. Obama needs to get merciless and get whatever he can shove through reconciliation bills for everything with 51. Works for me. Brown also takes the wind out of liebermans sails so there's that....
