Rising Late and Angry

from his little, doll bed

American Hero and GOP Maximum Leader for Life Rush Limbaugh shuts off his

Ronald Reagan Alarm clock

Clears the sleep from his head

with a refreshing Chesterfield

Scrubs down his corroding privates with a handful

of Borateem

Dons a crisp, clean

Van Heusen shirt

And pausing only long enough to

put a stamp

On his important letter to the fine people

at the Reagan Library

he leaves on his important mission.

His limousine rolls down the scenic

Reagan Tollway

Taking the

Reagan High School turnoff

Past where some of the crew from the

USS Ronald Reagan

Are taking a morning jog through

Reagan Park

Dropping him at last at the airport where he takes the shuttle to

Reagan National Airport

Where another liveried vehicle whisks him down the

Reagan Parkway

Then across town, stopping briefly at the

Reagan Federal Building to shake a few hands before getting in front a microphone to deliver the his Important Message!

From Politico:

"Placing [Kennedy’s] name on a health-care bill, in memoriam, or using his name as a sympathy ploy to advance a health care bill that would deny Americans the choices Sen. Kennedy had is an insult and is supreme hypocrisy,” the talk show host Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday. 'The senator's passing is going to give them the opportunity to use the sympathy play to get as much done in his name as possible."

…To put his name on this current health-care bill would be to insult what he stood for,” Limbaugh said.

Well, actually without a full and vibrant public option with care for all, now, run by the government, in competition with the insurance industry, and with national buying power for services and drugs, it WOULD be a complete abuse and hishonor of Kennedy's name.

Sick but true, the last sentence is right.

And fuck Limpballs, too, anyway.

It's time to go for Single Payer. New hand and the ante has been upped. Single Payer. Shove it down their throats. No more discussion, no more town brawls, no more.

How did you get (know about) that Ronald Reagan Park at Five Forks in Gwinnett County, Georgia? I used to live there, God help me, it's got to be the most corrupt county in Georgia, if not the country. How appropriate that the scum who govern there would invoke and inflict more Ronald Reagan on the populous. What would it take to get that crap undone. I refuse to drive on the used to be Sunshine State Parkway now renamed Ronald Reagan path to glory or whatever. I'm so impressed, Driftglass, to be educated about my own community from one so far away, now that is real talent, man you've got it.

1) What causes the comments to compress into illegibility on the post-page?

2) Obama in June signed a bill setting into operation a committee to develop plans to commemorate the Centennial of the feculent, vile, fascist stooge. Nancy stood by, with her hand on his shoulder. It was all very touching.

3) I just threw up a little coffe and toast in the back of my mouth. I detested Nixon, but my revulsion at Reagan and what his regime 'facilitated' knows NO limits.

4) You da BEST, Drifty!

You left out the number of times GOP congressman invoke "win one for the Gipper", otherwise perfect.

Let us not forget the most famous person of all whose death is used -24/7/365- to advance innumerable persons & groups agenda: Jesus.

Oh the horror!

I agree with Larue, yes, twice, and Myrtle June.

Let's make the so-called "representatives of the people" start over and pass a single-payer bill that will be the best coverage at the lowest price available in the western world. After all, these folks are absolutely captivated at claiming to be Number 1 in everything.

Let's make them earn it.

And let's do it NOW as this politically is our only moment to actually "change" anything.

S

P.S. See Bill Moyers' Journal last night for the lowdown on why things are so screwed up by the "left wing" Democrats like Rahmbo.

NOT!

Single Payer. Shove it down their throats. No more discussion, no more town brawls, no more.

Yes to Suzan and Myrtle June, right as always. And while I'm here taking a few bytes, let me say, Limpbot, that fucking fuck, is a fucking propagandist and a threat to all Americans; fuck that fucking fuck.

Neither Limbaugh nor his slobbering minions of cerebrally-atrophied devotees have the first clue of what Ted Kennedy stood for - they've been Pavlovian-programmed to blurt-chant "Chappaquiddick" at the mere mention of the name.
