The McSame Stipulation ™
I do hereby stipulate that flying off a carrier deck into enemy fire was and is a courageous thing to do.
I further stipulate that surviving years of torture and deprivation and emerging with your humanity intact shows remarkable bravery and fortitude.

A cousin of mine survived the Bataan Death March and a good long stint as a POW, with a bullet in his hip.
He NEVER said a word about it to any of us.
Then again, he NEVER killed several people, broiled several planes, and almost destroyed an aircraft carrier just by being a major goof-off around dangerous equipment.
McCain was ORDERED to refuse the early release, and he did as he was ordered.
McCain is an embarrassment.
And none of this gets anywhere near his being one of the Keating Five in the Savings and Loan Scandal of the late 1980s - early 90s.

uh, he refused to vote to have the CIA follow the same torture law as the military
