This is the guy -- the chief political analyst for ABC News -- who blocked me on Twitter and insulted me personally for pointing out over and over again that his pathological Both Siderism was bullshit in the face of an openly racist, paranoid, rage-drunk shithole Republican Party.

The thing is that Dowd isn't actually going to do this. Looking at the love fest that is that threat - all the people praising him for his high standards and such - it's obvious that he's blocked all of his leftie critics, but there are still a few deplorables in there who've somehow slipped through his tight screening process. I've always suspected that he deliberately keeps a few of them around so that he can look like he's being targeted for his Bold Clarity and then look even bolder when he stands up to them. You don't get that same aura of superiority when a bunch of filthy liberal partisans are pointing out that you're a cowardly, hypocritical windsock backing whatever position is currently most palatable.
