Professional Beltway Both Siderist scuttlefish Ron Fournier saw this...
SEE IT: Dozens of Notre Dame students walk out in the middle of VP Pence's commencement address. pic.twitter.com/AXb6Ivaysw— Rob Bennett (@rob_bennett) May 21, 2017
And reacted like this...
Don't be afraid, kids. Don't run away from opinions and policies that don't conform to your own. https://t.co/GPbLLOT2lq— Ron Fournier (@ron_fournier) May 21, 2017
Because professional Beltway Both Siderist scuttlefish like Ron Fournier -- who make their living dressing up and playing "journalist" in the shelter provided by the First Amendment -- have no fucking clue how the First Amendment actually works.
@calvinstowell How tolerant of you— Ron Fournier (@ron_fournier) May 21, 2017
It's the bitchy, bitter, Limbaughesque "You Liberals are supposed to be tolerant of my assholery" bit that makes it art.
What makes you think they were "afraid," rather than repulsed? And since when does freedom of thought and expression exclude protest? https://t.co/QjkDbI500O— Joy Reid (@JoyAnnReid) May 22, 2017

It couldn't be the shit that they rub in their hair, why would anyone not want to be around that?

Two important points about the Notre Dame protest. The students were primarily protesting Pence because of what an asshole he was as Governor of Indiana (home of Notre Dame duh) and less to do with Trump. And they let the University know ahead of time what their plans were. It was organized, non-violent, University accepted, and effective.

Good morning, Mr. Glass.
"Don't be afraid, kids. Don't run away from opinions and policies that don't conform to your own."
This the guy who blocked you on Twitter?
Be seeing you.
Yes, man infamous for twitter blocks complains demanding greater tolerance of opinions. Insert irony wisecrack *here*
Like none of us DFH precious snowflakes have ever in our lives, whether long or short, been exposed to opinions (and its mostly opinions, not facts) that are different from ours.
It's not as Fox Noise isn't blared at us in many public venues. It's not as if we don't know what Rush is bellowing today.
These students had to live under the avaricious, parasitical, Koch-sucking "rule" of Mike Dense when he was Governor of IN. How much more "exposure" do they need to "understand" his lethal opinions?
Typical fall-back of conservaworld: you DFH refuse to listen to our glorious "facts" and "ideas," so you're missing out on what's really going on.
Yeah, No.
As an ND graduate, I'm very proud of them.
And in case I haven't posted it here before, when Pence was in Congress, a Committee staffer was supposedly heard to remark that "there are salads in the House Dining Room with a higher IQ."
I think this is the hackiest thing he's said yet. And he's said a LOT of hack-y things.
Drifty, let me introduce you to a new word: "pendejo." Look it up, it perfectly describes tools like Dowd.
"Learn to stop worrying & love the Glorious Corporate Soviet!"
"Normalizing of the pathological fascist shitshow will continue until dividends improve!"
"Don't be afraid, kids - that pesky survival instinct isn't good for business!"
