Gun Nuts and Creepy Fundamentalists

Turns out, at least two of the Five Pillars on which Modern Conservatism stands (Ammosexuals and snake-handling Christopaths -- the other three being Bigotry, Corporatism and, most important of all, Dogmatic Denial That The Other Four Pillars Exist) don't fare so well when cable teevee fame and big money are in the mix.

The Duggars Deliberately Covered Up Child Molestation in Their Ranks

Chez Pazienza on May 22, 2015

The schadenfreude would be absolutely delicious if the story weren’t so sickening. 27-year-old Josh Duggar, the eldest son of the Duggar family — the Christian zealots who parlayed their unwillingness to stop churning out children into a multi-media empire — now admits publicly to molesting several little girls when he was a teenager, many of them his own sisters. He was forced to come clean after an In-Touch magazine article, published earlier today, detailed a 2006 police report revealing that Josh had confessed his acts to his father, Jim Bob Duggar, but the family patriarch withheld the information from police for a full year. Five young girls apparently had their breasts and genitals forcibly touched and groped by Josh, both while they were sleeping and while they weren’t. According to In-Touch, the report had remained hidden until the magazine filed a Freedom of Information Act request. The investigation treated Josh’s crimes as felonies.
From Fox411 (emphasis added):
Trouble just keeps mounting for former “Sons of Guns” star Will Hayden.

The former Discovery Channel star and ex-Red Jacket Firearms owner, who last week pled not guilty to multiple rape charges in Louisiana, has been ordered by a Baton Rouge state judge to pay more than $130,000 in penalties and damages to his former business partners for secret business dealings using the company’s brand.

“I can’t think why he thought he would get away with all this,” Red Jacket Licensing CEO Joe Meaux, who filed the victorious breach of contract lawsuit along with the other partners against Hayden, told FOX411, “unless he’s a psychopathic megalomaniac.”
...
Meaux also said that in the process of compiling the civil lawsuit late last year, they discovered that Hayden “wrongfully used” Red Jacket Licensing’s charge account to acquire more than $25,000 in inventory for Red Jacket Muzzleloading, which was a company owned only by Hayden.

We’re told Stephanie Ford, his oldest daughter and co-star, too was unaware of her father’s apparent side dealings.

Hayden’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and he does not appear to have filed an appeal.

The former reality star has been fast tumbling from grace in recent months, beginning in August when he was charged with raping two adolescent girls, coupled with accusations of sexual abuse

Discovery Channel quickly pulled the plug on the popular gun manufacturing show and Red Jacket Firearms severed all ties.

A source connected to the show said that Hayden is said to be struggling in prison, gaining weight and depressed.

From TMZ:
'Sons of Guns' Stars Stephanie and Kris ARRESTED For Cruelty to Their Child

"Sons of Guns" stars Stephanie Hayden and Kris Ford were arrested Friday in Louisiana ... for allegedly hitting a 9-year-old boy with a belt so hard he bruised.

Parish of Livingston officials tell us Kris abused Stephanie's son from another relationship last month ... by striking the kid on his lower buttocks area.

Stephanie was also taken into custody ... because her son told cops she was present in the room. She's not being accused of hitting her kid.

Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson peddles fantasy of raping and torturing atheist family
Posted By David Ramsey on Thu, Mar 26, 2015 at 7:54 AM

Oh dear. Paradigm of conservative cultural authenticity, Phil Robertson, patriarch of A&E's "Duck Dynasty," conjured up a gruesome fantasy of the rape and torture of an atheist family in a speech to the Vero Beach Prayer Breakfast, later broadcast on the “Trunews” radio program by host Rick Wiles. Robertson can't imagine how billions of humans have managed to reckon morality without his particular moral framework, but here's what he can imagine:
I’ll make a bet with you. Two guys break into an atheist’s home. He has a little atheist wife and two little atheist daughters. Two guys break into his home and tie him up in a chair and gag him.

Then they take his two daughters in front of him and rape both of them and then shoot them, and they take his wife and then decapitate her head off in front of him, and then they can look at him and say, ‘Isn’t it great that I don’t have to worry about being judged? Isn’t it great that there’s nothing wrong with this? There’s no right or wrong, now, is it dude?
Concerned that rape didn't get the point across, Robertson imagines cutting off the atheist's penis.

Fucking white people, amirite?

Sounds like they need more "spiritual capital".

From David Brooks:
Innate spiritual capacities can wither unless cultivated — the way innate math faculties can go undeveloped without instruction. Loving families nurture these capacities, especially when parents speak explicitly about spiritual quests.
Spiritual quests.

Yeah.

That should do it.

But...but...where are the black fathers and why can't they say the "N" word? These persecuted white people from real 'Murica are the real victims.

Hate speech. Congratulations! Your site has been flagged.

Re-confirms my contention that for Fundamentalists, sin the ultimate aphrodisiac.

The other four pillars ultimately exist to serve Corporatism. Drifty probably thought that was too obvious to need to be stated.
