In course of a single day, Andrew Sullivan has noticed the following:
Newt Gingrich is a thug with a thesaurus.
David Brooks is preposterous.
The GOP is run by mental cases.
Supply-side economics is a disaster.
"Neocon" is a fancy word for "fascist".
And -- as sure as God made little green apples -- some of those nice, white (and I'm making a wild guess here) Christian men who hold positions of unquestioned authority inside of rigid hierarchies will inevitably turn out to be monsters.
Congratulations, Mr. Sullivan.
And welcome to the Year of Our Lord 1993.
