Waycool that Clinton, faced with Obama's being either a win in Texas or Ohio away from putting her out of the race, has finally decided to eat her authorization vote to help Bush gin up the shitmire, and no farting and tapdancing about it.
What "Savvy"! To know that it was hanging around her neck like a bloody millstone, and one which, if she had won the nomination, the republicans would point to, every time she tried to hammer them for the clusterfuck.
If she had done this as up-front and as unequivocally as John Edwards did it two years ago, she might have won the nomination by now.
Instead, we see that she's only as "progressive" as events force her to be, and even that opportunism, too late to help her, it appears.
Or, TanBark, as KO said," all the other candidates running had already repudiated their votes, it only took Clinton 20 debates to get there."
Clinton didn't win the debate, therefore Obama did not lose. It seemed to me we had two incredibly well-versed candidates; one kept on landing blows, the other kept on deflecting them. Mostly a draw, except she had to walk back her AUMF vote.
It's worth having HiDef just to see Hillary's teeth. And her hair— just killed tonight. Her facelift just makes everything a little tighter, you know? Maybe even Texas and Ohio.
But it was really a battle about who can wear the flight suit of the Commander-in-chief.
But— what kind of Commander-in-chief whines about getting the first debate question six out of ten times? How would that go down at the negotiating table with Russia's "Mdv. . . Mdvdvr. . . Whatever." And what kinda CiC complains out loud about the press fluffing the pillows for Obama? A "Fighter"???
You know, maybe I'm not ready for a female Commander-in-chief after all.

He didn't hide his dislike of Clinton one bit, even Obama was looking at him out of the corner of his eye.
If that bastard treated his sugartit buddies like that he'd be out of a job in a hurry.

Punkinshitbagface is a complete utter disgrace. He is the apotheosis of the soul- and nation-destroying depths to which our national press has sunk. He should rot in the deepest hottest filthiest circle of hell reserved for those who fancy themselves journalists, but who trample on every single last tenet of journalistic ethics in their fevered pursuit of personal aggrandizement.

Punkinhead was his usual self really. Always trying for the drama..... Never know what he's getting at at all. Ask your damn questions idiot!
I like how Obama shut him down when he really tried to keep going with farrakahn's horrifying quotes! Obama neutralized him and yet he continued to try to get the actual anti-semetic remarks in and make Obama comment on them. He should go work for billo. ugh.
Hillary was an embarassment to women. Yes, I've been banned at fdl for being a "misogynist" and yet I continue. Hillary's whiny woman as victim coronation shit pissed me off from the start. This was her presidency in her mind. Its basically her cynical attitude v. obama's "well why not" one. Her version of Obama's "fantasy" in her speech and the way he handles it. Telling.
And finally eating her vote. Yep, 20 debates and it took him "10 seconds to conceed reject". The incredulous look on his face at that moment she launched that was pretty much how I feel every time I hear her speak. Every.single.time.
Russert needs to go away. He feeds the cynicism in everyone I think. So obvious in that performance last night.
