My question is this: What are the republicans long term plans? In their current plan to protect the criminal president, they are willing to destroy the republic by inserting a supreme judge who will declare that the President is above the law. That directly plays into their idea of one party rule in this country. Open for discussion if some on the right have a different sense of outcome. Also included in the overall mix of the “drown the government in a bathtub”, the right has at this stage undermined if not completely dismantled almost all of the agencies that make up the back bone of this government. How does any department work if all we have in place at the heads of the agencies are a bunch of “heck of a job Brownies “
As a species are we going to survive global authoritarian rule? Is that where we are heading? Or global civil war?
To me this all looks like the beginning of our extinction of species by choice moment.
Anybody got any ideas to share on the subject...
Sorry for the dour subject, I tend towards the pessimistic having been raised by a narcissist farther and his enabling wife.
I would think the Sppecies of man will survive Authoritarianism.

It is possible Climate Change will have a more vital role in the species survival of not only the human species.
Let me rephrase the question (respectfully).
How will our species survive the collapse of society (s) that refuse to evolve?
Authoritarianism seem to eventually cannibalize itself into oblivion.
There will never be enough power over others for the forever starving beast.
Authoritarianism does eventually run out of the inflicted.
