It's The Word "Back" That Makes It Art

Yeah, back as in back to being a slimy, orange, tiny-fingered, pussy-grabbing, PRIVATE CITIZEN, who nobody has to give a rat's ass about... Or really, I would settle for back on the track to incarceration for collusion with a hostile nation's attack on our democracy. I'm not picky.

But is it "art" in the sense of "deliberately constructed to provoke an emotional response" (say, humour or rage in this case), or in the sense of "Art of the Deal"?

I also think 'on' rather than 'at' is nifty too.

Oh, the Trump train is on track all right. The real problem, for them and us, is that Old Charlie stole the handle and the train just won't stop going, no way to slow down.

If you define "Back on track" as if what he was before the ACA fail.

Let me just say I hole not.

Because the Freddy Krugar Nightmare on 1600 Pennsylvania Street is serious even though good comedians can invoke laughter over it.

But as in the movie, you can die in the unreal world of Freddy, Trump Ryan.

I caught this little bull session by accident because the hotel TV defaults to ABC. One of these twits (fucked if I know which one) said that he knew Trump could sell tax cuts by talking about growth, i.e. the same saggy drum the GOP has been beating for over three decades. But it'll work this time, because Trump is great with messages, because he said "Lyin' Ted" a bunch during the campaign.

So this is what the intellectual part of our national discourse looks like, huh?

Amazing – this reminds me of something I saw years ago during Regan’s second term. The wheels were coming off, Iran Contra, the economy and a parade of corrupt dealings were doing massive damage. And I forget the show but there was this talking head wringing his hands about how the country didn’t need another failed presidency …what made then a bit different than now was that the other commentator jumped down this clown’s throat saying that considering what Regan’s polices , the country was better off right now with a failed presidency. I’m willing to bet a sawbuck nobody would say anything like that today.

Oh, they knew. They just thought it would only hurt their enemies. Or, in the hopefully-immortal words of Adrian Bott:

"I never thought leopards would eat MY face," sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party.

I guess if Georgie-Porgie means: when can Pres Trump get "back on track" to continue his robbing, plundering and pillaging of whatever's not nailed down in the USA anymore?? Then I agree. Trump was temporarily derailed from plunding via his TrumpNotCare legislation, so he'll just pick his sorry azz up and find a new way to rip off the rubes. You can bank on that.

Do you think that's what George meant? Because, seriously, that's the only "track" that I can see Trump getting "back on." Ye olde money train - choo choo!
