Keep in mind, The Prez and his
DOD Sec. who does seem to have kept his promise of stopping to use Drugs and alcohol if he is confirmed is still acting like a primo donna FOX weekend show cohost. In between scolding the Boy Scouts of America and eliminating all that horrible DEI stuff and people. Without telling us what DEI means to him. For I do not think it means what he may think it means.
He hasn't told us what replaces DEI?
I do know his superior NON DEI guys ran a US oi Navy oil refueler aground because his non DEI captain of the ship took a short cut in Mid east waters. That 3 F-15's were shot down by ally non DEI forces and two USAF KC-35 (DEI not present) collide in mid air over Iraq about to mid air refuel.
It was not DEI that caused Pistol Pete to ban photographers from DOD briefings because of unflattering pictures used. Photos taken of Hegseth making faces he normally makes and looks like. That the photos are not air brushed like playboy models of centerfolds get.
We are seeing the AdSense of DEI in all the errors, mistakes of Pete's reign.
With no DEI and never telling us what replaces DEI.
We find Pete's superior non DEI world is not what he promised.

Well, to give Fergus credit that he doesn't deserve, it is possible that Iran got a Tomahawk cruise missile back in the eighties when Ronnie the corrupt moron was selling them arms. That seems like an outrageous proposition, but so does the entire Iran-Contra affair, so who can really tell? I don't think their shelf life is that long, but that is a reality-based concern, and reality does have a well-known liberal bias.
I'm trying to remember whether there were newly-minted Republicans among my fellow patients in the rehab hospital, but I don't seem to remember any. There were definitely folks who displayed the telltale mental characteristics of Republicans, stubbornness, denial of basic reality and so forth, but my therapists told me that was typical of stroke survivors.
As a stroke survivor myself, I'm not letting Fettermanchin off of the hook. Perhaps his look is an affectation and he isn't really someone who has seen any actual adversity. That would make more sense than some ischemic political realignment.
Thank you again for the podcast. The weather has warmed a bit and the snow outside the door is down to about four feet deep, but mostly melted off of the road.
