40 years too late Brooks is suddenly interested in asking, "What did people like me do to bring this about?"
And since the dawn of the Liberal blogosphere, blogger like me have spilled millions of pixels answering this question in exhaustive detail.

methinks brooks, like dershowitz in his tidy-whiteys, doth protest too much. he wasn’t defending the principles of ‘lets concentrate on REAL stories’ as much as don’t look ‘there’. brooks has made a career out of sycophantic tushy-slurping...the cooler for the kindler and gentler gop that prefers jeb bush or mitt romney to felon 47.
so yeah...self preservation, distance from rapists and pedophiles, we’re not talking journalistic integrity, he’s an opinion writer, we’re talking rush limbaugh-lite distancing himself from association with the story of this decade. the one that makes watergate, teapot dome, etc. look like relative ‘no big deals...’.

People like me have asked themselves what they can do to bring about influencers like David Brooks
who preys on the vulnerable minds to promote his wealthy benefactors desire for control.
For one, his both siderism. It comes out of both sides of his mouth. Just when you think he is called out for something from one side of his mouth. It comes out of the other side.
While it's truly sad that people such as you have been shut out from the national conversation on high profile media platforms I'm thankful that you and Bluegal's voices are out there somewhere. It helps keep people like me sane to know I'm not alone.
