Perhaps the legacy media is not comfortable with us trying to learn from what was successful in the past. I know I continue to be irritated at them characterizing Democrats as being "leaderless" (as if we have to have our own Fergus to worship in order to get anything done) and all their variations of us being weak.
Yeah, we didn't have a pussy-hat march this time, and they are disappointed because that made for great clickbait and probably sold ads galore. What it didn't do is stop Fergus from any of the stupid and evil things he did last time.
What we are doing this time? Stopping the worst of his bullshit immediately in the courts, which was one of the successful tactics from last time.
There does seem to be a bit of information discipline this time around, a bit less taking of the bait. Really, this is just the very beginning of his term and we are already pushing back on some of the worst of his behavior and reinforcing the spread of news of the most awful of things he does. His strategy is to flood the zone, our strategy is not to respond to each individual awfulness, but to try to make what we do mean something.
We will have no shortage of issues to push back against for the foreseeable future, so get ready.

Looking back. I see when the news was a public service mandatory to networks to provide and did not really present itself as a fpr profit broadcast.
Not only did the news rooms become a entertainment. it also became a political asset and a propaganda feeding trough.
Our government leaders prompted it and enabled it. Even after years of caught ling to the public, the other net words (news) defend the FOX knowing its misinforming.
The FOX who recently lost a defamation law suit for outright lying with intent to harm the businesses of voting machine companies hurting their bottom like.
And the FOX, it caved and settled.
It is my opinion all this legal allowance of settling has turned into paying a fee to excuse their crimes. They are crimes.
Settling a law suit over a fender bender is one thing. FOX settling with voting Machine company is another.
You see, the harm FOX committed hurt many Americans that do not own voting machine companies.
Force these cases through the court and end with a jury deciding and someone, someone has to go to jail.
Otherwise it is willingly commit crimes for profit knowing a settlement payment is probable for the profits you gain from that crime. And may continue to commit those crimes.
They gave us 24/7 network news for all thus breaking news stories of natural disasters to reporting on wars.
When you watch these 24/7 news broadcasts now, itis all politics. And Politics has become a word to invoke to legally scam, lie, propagandize and or incite a violent reaction.
Congressmen have a special speech and debate clause that allows them more free speech than its citizens and it is called political speech which is defined as anything goes.
It has been used for accusations without proof that Obama was not a natural born citizen as president. It can organize by a political party to make claims of guilt of a woman (Hillary) running for president even after those accusations were proven false from the very politicians running an a congressional investigation of crimes on her during a campaign and ending that investigation by exonerating her but with more of their special speech and still claiming her guilt.
It didn't take long for the print media to follow. It wasn't the introduction to news on the internet.
It was the owners of the news outlet medias that decided to go with the misinformation and propagandizing as the FOX has profited and succeeded by.
It is no longer informing the public to make the best decisions because there is a force that wants to feed you what they want to circle back that same want to justify their deeds.
We can all see how the media is reporting on the Orange fiend.
It was obvious how they differed in reporting on the Joe Biden.
There is no going bck from this. There is creating something new to replace it that serves the same ideals of informing the public.
