History does not always repeat itself. Sometimes it just yells, 'Can't you remember anything I told you?' and lets fly with a club.”  -- John W. Campbell Jr.

  1. Trust in our fellow man can be difficult at times. In Sci Fi instances you point to is more can I trust you as being human. One of us. Assuming they being human would be for the future of the human race.
It can be a circumstantial situational question of trust and trust to do what?
I can tell you in the midst of war being smack in the battleground, trusting someone to have your back rises . This also poses the assume question of whose side are you on? That with .us or against us has a place.
I no longer trust the Supreme Court of the United States. I say that for they tell me repeatedly in their rulings they are not trust worthy nor with us.
A vote that should by all legal means should be a 9/0 decision it is a 5/4.
Brings to mind Invasion of the body snatchers. Original or remake.
When I think of 6 of the SCOTUS justices.
Which reminds me, about why I came and wrote this,
I came here to this site to chew Bubble Gum or kick ass And I am all out of Bubble Gum.
Not science fiction, Edge of Darkness. Errol Flynn plays a resistance leader in a small Norway town. Learns the allied forces will be arming Norwegians to fight back and the arms arrive. But their are people of Norway that are "QUIZZLINGS". Meaning they can;t be trusted and will rat you out to the occupying oppressive NAZIS.
So do not trust a Quizzling either.
