Are juries perhaps the last functional example of we? One just decided that Rudy owes Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss $148 million, so maybe? My mom worked for criminal defense attorneys for most of her career, so I haven't found much about Fergus' prosecution surprising.
ReplyDeleteI've been forcing myself to not adversely react to the presidential polling before the actual campaign starts, although it can be hard sometimes, but I was encouraged by Nancy Pelosi when Alex Wagner interviewed her and she said that they have plans to rollout some of the most obvious stuff around MLK day.
Paul the fuck Ryan? I still have nightmares about him running for the presidency.
I saw a poll that said that 30% of Republican voters wouldn't vote for Fergus if he was convicted of a felony, and the timely advance of the trial is now in the hands of the goddamn supremes.
But we can't care about that. We have to do what we can for this campaign as if it was down five points in all of the polls and whatever difference we can make just might be what tips it back to sanity.
It's gonna be lit.
Thank you again for the podcast. I just turned 63 and am feeling way too fucking old for these lies and this insanity.
