Sad as it is to have to note this, I understand Jon Stewart devoted himself to the whole "the man was crazy/let's not politicize this terrible tragedy" line of bullshit on his show last night.
Not quite "both sides do it!" but the next line of defence available to limp centrist dishrags everywhere.
