It's unfortunate such iconography as the cross, the flag and a rifle have come to be associated with one party. Contrary to pop perception, there are plenty of Democrats who are or profess to be good Christians, patriots and defenders of the 2nd Amendment--albeit their slants on these positions may be somewhat different from the GOP's party line. Then again, subjective satire's not intended to be fair.
