Steve Gilliard’s having a fundraiser to buy a new Fundy fragbox and frankly I was considering stiffing him and buying some wallpaper and throw pillows for my new place (y'know you budget mortgage and assessments and so forth, but even after you cipher to the extreme right of the decimal point for the essentials, it's still the little, homey touches that'll eat right into your porn money) 'cause honestly, what the hell has Gilly ever done for me? :-)

Then I'm skipping past James Wolcott's house on my way to buy dust ruffles for the serifs on my fonts and a special crown molding paint-brush for the hard-to-reach area around the blogroll, and JW himself jumps out of the weeds and hauls me right into the alley. Gave me a working over worthy of a gunsel in a Chandler novel.
