ReplyDeleteThanks for the terrific newsreel. If he hadn’t gotten sick, my dad was part of a training unit with journalists. He was able to run a linotype machine and might have ended up helping to print newsletters or American leaflets, don’t know. They were also training him on being a radar operator, in the Army’s infinite wisdom. He remained interested in modern radar and radio and would have been delighted by all this Internet self-publishing stuff.
