It's like the American Cubanos who are finding themselves being deported despite their outsized support of Trump. All because they think communism is the cause of all their home country's problems and equate it with the Democrats and the left in this country. Only now are they realizing that Trump doesn't gaf about them and Republicans hate them because they aren't white.
