    Drift, I assumed you had already read The Martian, which lead you to The Egg. The reverse apparently. Enjoy the novel and as Mark Watney says:

    RE: Science Fiction University: when you discussed time travel movies, I'm surprised you didn't mention "Predestination." If you guys have not seen it, I highly recommend it. It's a recent adaptation of the short story "All You Zombies" which was written by a certain author that I think DG is familiar with...
