Fraud and Man at Yale

I have no words.

I assume this will be held just down the hall from Paul Wolfowitz's advanced class on 21st Century military strategy.

So... Brooks gets an hour and fifty minutes to spill his 'wisdom' and doesn't have to really create a solid course and final test?

Isn't this really just a weekly paid speaking gig?

And if humility is partly about knowing your own shortcomings, how the fuck does this clown get off get paid to teach others to know their own defects when he gets paid for ignoring his own?

    WTF!
    HULK SMASH!

  5. Good morning, Mr. Glass.

    "I have no words."

Translation: I'm saving all the words for this week's podcast, because we're gonna need a laugh after we get through all the gun-stuff.

  7. No final exam? I doubt there are any "assignments" at all in Brooks' course on 'Humility'.

Can anyone realistically picture Professor Davy hunkered down in one of his vast spaces for entertaining, desk-bound with a red pen, grading papers?

If only we could find out how much Yale is paying him...

  8. Coming next - Charles Manson chairs a panel on intergroup conflict reduction.

Those vast spaces for entertaining in Bobo's humble new digs don't just pay for themselves, you know.

  10. He left the most humble person in history off of his list, and I have no doubt it was on purpose. Jesus Christ.

  11. This is for real? YGTBFKM

There simply is no end to Wingnut Welfare, is there?

At least this is happening at a private university and not a public school. Then again, some portion of his pay will be coming from the borrowed dollars of students who cannot afford to pay for college up front. Borrow dollars backed by the US taxpayer that is.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrr

  12. Wolfowitz's class is on Empathy. He doesn't do the graduate seminar in military strategy until the fall, when Brooks offers social science research methodology and research ethics.
