As it happ...whoa. You had me at 'Manimal.'

As it happened I read a web essay and thought, 'THIS I shall dump on driftglass guy because cats=good,' then I copied the url, browsed here predetermined to drop THIS link somewhere, anywhere, first Comment section I come to no matter how off-topic, fuckhim he can elide his dislikes. I think you'll see why [ https://www.counterpunch.org/2018/08/03/let-us-now-praise-infamous-animals-2/ ]

Essays are long reads. Or, essays are thorough.

Comments are bumperstickers. Or, comments are thought wads.

Wads of magnetism. Which calls for picture words.
Magnetism, like you see around the end of the iconic horseshoe magnet. Or around the tip of a compass needle. It is invisible, like the wind, like air.
Okay, a swirling ball of this invisible stuff, magnetism, a ball of magnet, can be pushed or pulsed through the air and 'slimed' into things swirled onto things.

The electricity circling through a human brain thinking inducts a magnetic field through the space.
If you could package a bundle of that magnet moment, and propel it toward another human brain, and enter, the magnet field-wad conducts an electric flow through the space.

And that electric flow is a thought and the receiving person gets it so is thinking the same thought.

---

The whole sciencey business about how circular electricity flow creates a magnetic moment aligned through the center of the circle, simultaneously spontaneously; how electricity creates magnetism and magnetism creates electricity but they don't really 'create' each other they simply are always found or bound together.
If you got electricity then you got magnetism.
If you got magnetism then you got electricity.

We can measure it in two different fields but it is one energy. Two forms, one energy.
(Science words don't draw very good pictures. It's almost like Religion words. All the invisible stuff, see?)

Anyway, that's why it's called the ElectroMagnetic Spectrum.

---

It's gasseous faith to mentally picture a ball of magnetism the size of a melon flying through the air. Making electricity in any conductive metal it slimes.

But they have them now.

A 2-inch barrel 4 feet long shoots a blob of magnetism maybe half-a-mile where you point it and spreading wider beyond.

First you charge up a huge box of electricity. Probably you could fit the barrel and the box in the back of a van. A bigger box of electricity (as big as a swimming pool) can make a stronger magnetic ball fly farther in a straight line.
Also the barrel's dimensions matter.
Van size is perhaps the smallest configuration they have operating.

It's called an Electro Motive Pulse (EMP obviously, the fabled) weapon. Wikipedia said the Russians designed the concept in the 1950s. Concerns of it have been hush-hush since then.

What's done it's said is a van parked near a runway is there shoots a wad of magnetism at a low flying slow moving plane. Any electronics onboard the plane fries.

Just sayin', my comment.

Kids!, next time we'll see the magnet moment swirls clockwise in the right brain viewed through the right ear, but counterclockwise in the left brain looking in the left ear.

We'll flip it though to be inside, skull-center, where your 'I' dwells, looking out ears illustrated as putting your mouth to a megaphone sis boom bah.
In this it is obvious the left brain is deductive, (thinks: what's for me?, what's mine? around me), while
the right brain is inductive, (thinks: whose am I?, how do I serve?)

Left brain: rightist view of politics. Individual rights.
Right brain: leftist view of politics. Civic duties.
In between, balance, justice, fairness, conscience.

Mammals and birds mostly have two brains and so have that peculiar moralizing thing.

Oh yeah, almost forgot THIS link:

https://www.counterpunch.org/2018/08/03/let-us-now-praise-infamous-animals-2/

___Meremarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09625496335637333544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11363027.post-5585083036116870262018-08-03T14:34:11.277-05:002018-08-03T14:34:11.277-05:00"All she is doing is resisting whiteness and ..."All she is doing is resisting whiteness and maleness, which indeed require resistance every second of the day."

Yes, Andrew, if you are neither of those things they require resistance pretty much constantly. Or acquiescence to their societal demands, something that as an old song once said "you oughta know"...

But really, what strikes me about this statement is how logically similar it is to Fergus' latest denial that he's obstructing justice...
He's just fighting back at the witch hunt, dontcha know...

-Doug in Oakland dinthebeasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12941071534250216503noreply@blogger.com
